Dalai Lama Renaissance is an 80-minute documentary film about 40 of the world's most innovative thinkers who travel to India in the Himalayan Mountains to meet with the Dalai Lama to solve many of the world's problems. Narrated by actor Harrison Ford, the film also features Quantum Physicists Fred Alan Wolf and Amit Gowami. Winner of 10 awards at film festivals around the world, it is the official selection of over 35 international film festivals. The Institute of Global Ethics will be holding a number of events and seminars which are designed to "help you resolve ethical issues you face daily, both at work and at home" and "help participants become voices for values at the local level." These events will take place throughout the year.

Trapped in religious riots in Delhi, filmmaker Paula Fouce follows the Dalai Lama on a journey to understand religious intolerance. Not in God's Name shows how the world is ravaged by extreme divisions between religions. The film is being shown on Public Television in the US ( schedule).

The Semshae--Heart Songs Tibetan Children's Music CD is being released in May. The opening release party is in New York on May 22nd at Tibet House (3-5pm). Semshae has been a special project of The Dalai Lama Foundation. Following the release, Techung will be on a CD release tour to communities in North America, Europe and Asia.

Level 1: Mindfulness Fundamentals is for teachers, parents, psychologists and anyone who would like to learn mindfulness for themselves. This six-week course will teach you the basic techniques of mindfulness as well as help you build your own practice. Level 2: Curriculum Training teaches participants how to teach mindfulness to children in a classroom setting. This series is based on the Mindful Schools K-5 curriculum. Lessons from this curriculum can easily be adapted for use in the home, after school programs, or in a private therapy practice. How do worldviews shape our experience? What skills do we need to open us to other peopleÌs worldviews? Why is this important to our global community? These are the questions that confront students in the complex, multi-cultural world of the 21st century. Participants will explore worldviews and the lesson plans that engage students in new ways of thinking and being. The program is intended for teachers, parents, community group leaders, scientists, administrators, grandparents, and teenagers or anyone interested in delivering this program in individual or community settings. Wilmington College * Wilmington, Ohio, USA The week-long Peacebuilding Peacelearning Intensive is designed for individuals and organizations who hope to launch new peacebuilding and change initiatives or enhance existing efforts. Participants will be coached in the design and development of a strategic peacebuilding plan that they will take back to and implement in their community or initiate in an organization they already work with. The plan will be assessed and evaluated by instructors and peers, and the National Peace Academy will provide ongoing guidance for project development after completion of the Intensive. The event is open to all citizens seeking to establish a humanly secure, democratic, just, healthy and sustainable United States. Business and government leaders, social entrepreneurs, community organizers, educators, NGO and non-profit professionals, UN officials, activists, university students, and parents are encouraged to enroll.
